Eric Swithin
Eric Swithin

Eric Swithin received his BA in Economics from Rice University, and his Master of Arts in Theology and Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary. Eric is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Apologetics, Discipleship, and Spiritual Formation at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is also a combat veteran who served four years in the United States Marine Corps.

Eric is both an artist and a minister; he loves how Jesus used stories to teach His disciples and wants to do the same. Eric is the author of the book, Show Me Your Glory, which served as the basis for the movie. He specializes in spiritual disciplines, leadership, preaching, ministry strategy, discipleship strategy and discipleship curriculum.

Dr. Sean McDowell

Dr. Sean McDowell is a gifted communicator with a passion for equipping the church, and in particular young people, to make the case for the Christian faith. He connects with audiences in a tangible way through humor and stories while imparting hard evidence and logical support for viewing all areas of life through a Biblical worldview. Sean is an Associate Professor in the Christian Apologetics program at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University. Sean is listed among the top 100 apologists. He graduated summa cum laude from Talbot Theological Seminary with a double master’s degree in Theology and Philosophy. He earned a Ph.D. in Apologetics and Worldview Studies from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2014. Sean is the author, co-author, or editor of more than 20 books including End the Stalemate; Chasing Love; The Fate of the Apostles; So The Next Generation Will Know, with J. Greg Koukl received his Master’s in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics at Talbot School of Theology and his Master’s in Christian Apologetics from Simon Greenleaf University. He is an adjunct professor in Christian apologetics at Biola University. He founded Stand to Reason in 1993 and currently serves as its President. He has spoken on more than 90 university campuses both in the U.S. and abroad and has hosted a call-in radio show for more than 30 years, advocating for “Christianity worth thinking about.” He has debated atheist Michael Shermer on national radio and Deepak Chopra on national television. An award-winning writer and bestselling author, Greg has written seven books, including Street Smarts: Using Questions to Answer Christianity’s Toughest Challenges; The Story of Reality: How the World Began, How It Ends, and Everything Important that Happens in Between; Tactics: A Game Plan for Discussing Your Christian Convictions; and Relativism: Feet Firmly Planted in Mid-Air. Dr. Craig S. Keener (PhD. Duke University) is the F. M. and Ada Thompson Professor of New Testament at Asbury Theological Seminary. He is known for his work as a New Testament scholar on Bible background (commentaries on the New Testament in its early Jewish and Greco-Roman settings). His award-winning, popular-level IVP Bible Background Commentary: New Testament has sold more than 500,000 copies. He is one of the foremost leading scholars on the subject of miracles, authoring multiple books on the subject. Craig has authored more than 25 books—five of which have won awards from Christianity Today—with more than a million copies in circulation. His books include Galatians; Mind of the Spirit: Paul’s Approach to Transformed Thinking; Spirit Hermeneutics: Reading Scripture in Light of Pentecost; Miracles: The Credibility of the New Testament Accounts; The Historical Jesus of the Gospels; The Gospel of Matthew: A Socio-Rhetorical Commentary; Romans; 1-2 Corinthians; and The Gospel of John: A Commentary.

Dr. Chad Hess
Dr. Chad Hess

Chad Hess serves as the senior pastor at Woodmont Baptist Church in Florence, Alabama. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences in Secondary Education from the University of North Alabama (2006); an MDiv. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (2012); and his Doctorate from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (2024). He previously served in student ministry at Woodmont Baptist Church and as the campus pastor/Bible teacher at Shoals Christian School in Florence, Alabama. Chad grew up in Kentucky. He is a preacher’s son, but his father committed suicide in 2007. Since then, Chad has encouraged pastors, churches, and Christian leaders to lead spiritually healthy lives and organizations. The Lord has allowed Chad to encourage pastors as they make disciples of Jesus Christ. He is married to Janna and they have two boys, Stone and Hollis.

He is both an artist and a minister; he loves how Jesus used stories to teach His disciples and wants to do the same. Eric and his wife Kameron founded Abba Heart Ministries in 2014. The ministry started as Outdoor Adventures, a fatherless ministry, then grew into a national alliance known as The Alliance for Ending the Fatherless Epidemic. In recent years, God has grown their ministry to include evangelism and producing faith-based films, including SHOW ME YOUR GLORY and THE FATHERLESS EPIDEMIC. Eric is the author of the book, Show Me Your Glory. In ministry, Eric is called to serve ministry leaders by helping them abide more deeply and live more radically. He specializes in spiritual disciplines, leadership, preaching, ministry strategy, discipleship strategy and discipleship curriculum.

Kameron Swithin is a lawyer, artist, and minister. She received her BA in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, and her law degree (JD) from the University of Houston, where she was executive editor of Houston Law Review. She practiced corporate law in Texas for nine years before entering full-time ministry with her husband, Eric. Together, Kameron and Eric founded Abba Heart Ministries in 2014. Abba Heart Ministries started as Outdoor Adventures, a fatherless ministry, then grew into a national alliance known as The Alliance for Ending the Fatherless Epidemic. In recent years, God has grown their ministry to include evangelism and making faith-based films including SHOW ME YOUR GLORY and THE FATHERLESS EPIDEMIC. Kameron is author of the book, Show Me Your Glory. She is the lead singer and songwriter for the original songs in SHOW ME YOUR GLORY: “Your Heart Bleeds” and “You Heal Me.” Her favorite role is being a wife to Eric and a mama to two precious children.
